The Loss of Jean-Michel Barrault: Turning a New Page for the Solitaire du Figaro

Jean-Michel Barrault, the creator of the flagship event of our Figaro Beneteau circuit, passed away this Wednesday, January 17th.
A world-renowned sailor and founder of the Course de l'Aurore with Jean-Louis Guillemard in 1970, which later became La Solitaire du Figaro, he was a distinguished mariner who leaves behind a renowned race that continues to showcase the greatest skippers.
Our heartfelt thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.
