Originally from the Brest region, Axelle has been passionate about the sea since childhood, spending her summers on the family boat between the English and Spanish coasts. However, it was only after a career in gymnastics that Axelle transitioned to competitive sailing. After participating in the 2019 Mini Transat and almost all the races of the Mini circuit in 2018-2019, she decided to make offshore racing her profession.

Upon arriving in Lorient in 2020, Axelle became an electronics engineer and participated in the preparation of several IMOCA boats for the Vendée Globe. Specializing in supporting teams for autopilot adjustments, she found plenty of opportunities for sailing.

After a 2023 marked by the Ocean Race, committing to the Figaro circuit in 2024 is a way for Axelle to further her professionalization and high-level sailing expertise.
