The story begins in La Baule, where she grew up and first got introduced to sailing. However, it was at the age of 14, while practicing crewed keelboat sailing, that her passion for sailing became evident.
After completing her Baccalauréat (French high school diploma), Julie decided to pursue studies in business school with a focus on corporate finance. She began her career in major corporations in Paris and later in Nantes, all the while continuing to sail regularly as part of a crew.
In 2020, she made the decision to enter the Mini 6.50 circuit with a series boat. She received support from a Nantes-based company, Dynamips, and joined the offshore racing center in La Turballe.
With three years of learning and experience on the Mini 6.50 circuit, Julie decided to take the next step by joining the Figaro Beneteau circuit. She continues to manage her project alongside her job and is currently seeking partners with the goal of participating in the Solitaire du Figaro in 2023 and 2024.
